Swimming pool

A few weeks ago we were talking about if the pool will stay or leave. I think we should keep the pool because its good to learn how to swim and you never know if you are stuck in a river and you don't know how to swim.

Habitat boxes

A habitat box starts of as a shoe box and then you chose a animal to do on. You need to decorate and paint the background and floor of the shoe box to match the animals habitat you are doing then add different things in that matches the animals habitat. The hardest part was the trees because it was super hard to stick them on and make sure they were still standing high. I am most proud of the hand made grass and trees because I made them myself it took a long time to get the leaf on the trees because it will all ways rip.

Production 2015

I was in the South African group. We did one performance and one dance to one song. The song was the loin sleeps tonight. The part I enjoyed was  doing a the gumboot dance because I love to stomp and we get to shout. A suggestion I would make to improve our productions would be to do something different every time. I enjoyed South African the most because I got to perform in it.

Production

Last night was my first production and I was super nervous but it was still a lot of fun. There where lots of different country's like China, U.K, India and loads of other ones the country I am in is South Africa we did two different dances to two different songs the first one was the gumboot dance its not really a song. Did you know miners did the gumboot dance because they where not aloud to use drums and also they did the gumboot dance to share there excretions. Our second song was in the jungle we did lots of different dances to it.

African Group

Tomorrow is production and I am in the South African group. I'm performing in the gumboot dance and I'm also a elephant. We first do the gumboot dance then we sing and dance to in the jungle song. I am most looking forward to doing the gumboot dance because we get to stomp. I am nervous about doing in the jungle song because sometimes I dance out of time.

Friend ship boxes.

A friend ship box is something that our class made. The reason why we made the friend ship boxes was to write a letter about something so body did good and then we fold it and put in the the friend ship box. The most trickiest was sticking on the top of the box.

Oranges falling like fire balls bursting out of cannons,

Flaming oranges lighting up the sky,

One giant orange making the sky glow,

Juicy orange juice splashing in my tummy,

Falling oranges coming from the sky like asteroids on fire,

orange juice water falls making huge splashes.

Seven Sharp Interview

Wednesday at  1.30 we are going to get interviewed by the seven sharp crew. It happened because last year a kid in room 14 named  Christian sore a spelling mistake and emailed the author so he could check his spelling.
The author that wrote this book is called Doug Wilson some of the other books he wrote were snake haven.
The title of the book is don't mess with these kids.
The book is about room 14 saving Waikato.

I am most looking forward to be on T.V because I want to be famous.

Room 14's field remembrance

On Tuesday we made the field of remembrance. We had two piece of wood, a flower sticker, and a sticker with the army persons name on it and there code number  and double sided tape to put the wood to gather. First we put the wood to gather with the double tape and then stick the stickers on.we did this to Celebrate the war of gallopli. to see the field of remembrance come to Vardon and its by the flag.

Last week we did Tabloids . My favourite event was the parachute because because  i like running under the parachute. The hardest event was tug of war because its really hard to pull the other classes.

Zoo Trip

Yesterday we went to the zoo. We did lots of activates like scavenger hunts, quiz.
We went to learn how they inspire the animals.
One way they inspire the animals is they put puzzles in there cage.
My favourite part was the scavenger hunt because we got to explore the zoo.
The challenging part was the quiz because it was hard to find the answers.
My favourite animal was the Kune Kune Pig because they look cute and are messy.
